Center

What is it about?

This page covers the Center command in Cinema 4D. It aligns selected objects (including children) within their common bounding box — centering or snapping them to its sides — a quick cleanup step when assembling or normalizing scenes.

This command centers objects in 3D space. It affects all the objects that are selected in the Object Manager. The selected objects’ children are also affected. CINEMA 4D calculates the size of the object group. Think of this as a three-dimensional cuboid which encloses the objects and imagine an axis system whose origin is at the center of this cuboid. This imaginary cuboid is important in understanding the alignment options.
