Spline Wrap
What is it about?
This page describes the Spline Wrap deformer in Cinema 4D. It bends geometry along a spline and can move it down the path — the standard approach for cables, chains, growing vines or text flowing along a curve.
The Spline Wrap works as a deformation object and deforms any object with the help of a spline. The deformed object can move along the spline and bends accordingly.
When using a spline with several segments, each segment receives its own copy of the deformed object and works similar to a Cloner object, so to speak.
