Scratches
What is it about?
This page covers the Scratches node of the classic node materials in Cinema 4D. It draws random dark lines on a light ground — procedural scoring and wear marks for masks and bump inputs.
The Scratches Node can generate randomly distributed, scaled and rotated scores. The density of these elements can be controlled by the number of layers, among other things. If this parameter is varied via a brightness gradient, as in this example, for example, the amount of scratches can be controlled very easily along the surface.
Note:
This Node is only available when editing a classic Cinema 4D Node Material.
Allows you to create random black lines on a white background. The effect can be used, for example, to simulate scoring or scratches on a surface.
