Character Solver Tag
What is it about?
This page describes the Character Solver tag in Cinema 4D. Together with Character Definition tags, it transfers animation from one character to another (retargeting) — the key to reusing mocap clips or existing animation on new rigs.
Motion transfer or re-targeting is achieved by adding a Character Solver tag to the target character you would like the animation to be transferred to. It can be found in the Rigging tags>Character Solver contextual menu of the Object Manager.
