What is it about?

This page documents the CATIA V5 import settings in Cinema 4D. They control how native CATIA CAD assemblies are converted to polygon geometry — part of the CAD import family for visualization workflows.

Tip:Note that many of the following options will only work if the respective export options in the CAD applications also export these elements. This applies to the Combine function in particular.
