Atan2

What is it about?

This page documents the Atan2 node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It computes the angle between the positive X-axis and a 2D direction vector — the sign-aware full-circle angle for radial logic.

This calculation results in the output of the angle between the positive X axis of a 2-dimensional coordinate system and the directional vector for Position X, Y.
