Shuffle Array

What is it about?

This page documents the Shuffle Array node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It randomizes the order of array elements — for example scrambling point data to introduce controlled chaos into procedural geometry.

This Node can be used to randomly recalculate the order of the elements of an Array. The following figure shows a possible application. There, the Array of point coordinates of a sphere was randomly varied.

On the left you can see the original sphere object. On the right, the Array of point positions of the sphere was read and randomly rearranged.
