Radial
What is it about?
This page describes the Radial Field node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It sweeps the field strength around an axis like an angular gradient — ideal for clock-hand or pie-slice-shaped effects.
This Field's structure is based on a radial progression on a plane that is perpendicular to the selected Index. As with a color gradient, for example, there is always a line at which the minimum and maximum Field Strengths meet. In-between there is a value transition that progresses radially and is calculated linearly. The distance between the defined Index doesn't play a role for the calculation of the Field Strength.
