STEP Import Settings

What is it about?

This page covers the STEP import settings in Cinema 4D. STEP is the most common neutral CAD exchange format — these settings control tessellation and hierarchy when loading parts and assemblies.

Tip:Note that many of the following options will only work if the respective export options in the CAD applications also export these elements. This applies to the Combine function in particular.
