Sound

What is it about?

This page covers the Sound Effector in Cinema 4D's MoGraph system. It analyzes frequency ranges of an audio file and translates them into clone transformations — the classic tool for audio-reactive visualizers and music-driven animation.

Note:Please also note the Sound Field, which does a similar thing within the field functionality.

A small frequency range is selected from the frequency spectrum, which then controls the effector.

You can use the sound effector to transform clones using sound files and their evaluated frequency spectra. Several frequency ranges ("sampling ranges") can be evaluated simultaneously.
