Untriangulate
What is it about?
This page documents the Untriangulate command in Cinema 4D. It converts triangle meshes back into quads or n-gons — a cleanup essential for geometry imported from CAD or game formats before further modeling or subdivision.
If a given object is only made up of triangles (e.g., an object exported by another application or you called up the Triangulate command), Cinema 4D can, in consideration of numerous parameters, convert these triangles back to quads or n-gons.
