This page documents the Lasso Selection for hair guides in Cinema 4D. It selects guides or guide points by drawing a freehand outline — practical for grabbing irregular regions of a hairstyle before grooming operations.

The Lasso Selection tool lets you draw a freehand selection area. Selections can be expanded or reduced by simultaneously pressing the Shift or Ctrl/Cmd buttons, respectively.
