What is it about?

This page covers the Absolute node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It turns every input value positive — the standard guard against unwanted negative values in calculations.

For many calculations it can be helpful if all values are only positive. The Absolute Node automatically passes on its results as positive values only.

Negative values within a calculation are not always desired. This Node ensures that each input value is converted to a positive value.
