Cycle index
What is it about?
This page documents the Cycle Index node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It wraps integer sequences into repeating ranges like a modulo counter — keeping loop indices within bounds in iterative node setups.
This Node is intended for processing values that are to be used as a continuous, integer number sequence (integer values), e.g., in loops. The function is comparable to the use of the Modulo function, by which number ranges can be limited and repeatedly converted. A continuous sequence of numbers between 0 and 19 can thus be converted, for example, into four repeating sequences of the values 0 to 4.
