Database Parser

What is it about?

This page describes the Database Parser node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It reads JSON and CSV files into node setups — the gateway for data-driven scenes such as charts, maps or coordinate-based layouts.

This Node is able to read JSON and CSV files, which allows to make external datasets available in the scene Node environment. Possible use cases are the import of values or coordinates organized in list structures.

Data stored in CSV or JSON files can be read into Node setups via the Import Data Node.
