MoExtrude
What is it about?
This page covers the MoExtrude deformer in Cinema 4D. It extrudes an object's polygons in multiple steps like Matrix Extrude — but procedurally and Effector-controllable, enabling animated growth spikes and pulsing surface structures.
This Deformer can be used to extrude any number of an object's polygons. Granted, that's nothing new - the Matrix Extrude function can do the same. What the Matrix Extrude function cannot do is:
- The MoGraph Effectors affect each step of the extrusion (depending on the settings of the Transformation mode) as if it were a normal clone, i.e., the complete functionality of the Effectors can be used when extruding!
- Extrusion of Polygons of parametric primitives.
- Extrusion along a spline.
