What is it about?

This page documents the Shear node asset of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It tilts geometry with optional height-based temporal offset — the node counterpart of the Shear deformer, suited to wobbling, leaning motion.

This effect can be calculated with a temporal offset that increases continuously along the height. A comparable function is offered by the Shear Deformer.
