What is it about?

This page documents the Inset node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It creates scaled copies of selected polygons within the originals — the procedural preparation for panels, frames and detailed extrusions.

This Node's functionality can be compared with the Inset function in the Mesh menu and it is used to create a scaled copy of selected polygons.
