Illustrator Export

What is it about?

This page covers the Illustrator export in Cinema 4D, part of Sketch and Toon. It writes rendered lines and strokes as Adobe Illustrator vectors — turning 3D outlines into editable 2D artwork.

Sketch and Toon includes a vector exporter to the Adobe Illustrator format . Please keep in mind this is designed only for exporting the basic lines and strokes and simple texturing.

To export the scene to Adobe Illustrator:

Set the Illustrator Export options as desired (see Illustrator Export preferences).
Choose File / Export / Illustrator 8.
