What is it about?

This page covers the Linear Field node of the Scene Nodes system in Cinema 4D. It ramps the field strength from 0 to 1 along a definable direction and holds it there — the basic directional gradient of node setups.

This Node delivers a linearly increasing Field Strength of between 0 and 1 along a freely definable direction. After the Field Strength of 1 has been reached, this value will remain constant along the define direction.
