Time Condition

What is it about?

This page describes the Time Condition of the particle system in Cinema 4D. It passes particles through only during set time spans or recurring intervals — scheduling when downstream modifiers act within a simulation.

This condition differs from the other Condition objects in terms of how it works, as it is only concerned with the elapsing animation time or cyclically recurring time intervals in which the particles will then be passed on by the Time Condition. You can use this, for example, to check or change particle properties only in certain periods of your simulation.
The following video shows a simple example where the particles are changed in Radius at regular intervals.
