Backdrop

In traditional photography, paper rolls are often used as backgrounds. I wide roll of paper is attached horizontally to the ceiling or wall. By unrolling the paper, the vertical background can be created. If the paper is unrolled further, it will curve when it reaches the floor. This curvature ensures that a smooth brightness transition between the ground and the background is created when photographing.
This kind of background system can also be emulated with this Node and is therefore especially interesting for rendering products in a simulated studio environment. Moreover, additional shapes can be added, for example, to include a stepped floor or ceiling.
