Grid
Use this to select how many points are created and how the line segments are arranged.
- Segment: The structure is composed of simple lines, which always consist of short sections. A rectangular surface will, for example, be bordered by 4 separate lines that each consist of 2 connected points.
- Line: The complete width, height and depth are each covered by a continuous line. Correspondingly fewer points are required for the grid.
- Box: The border of each cell will be a rectangle.

As with a chessboard, you define here the desired number of rectangular faces for all spatial directions.
The dimensions of the grid can be specified by entering the outer dimensions (Endpoint) or by entering the dimensions of a single cell (Per-Step).
Here you can define the dimensions in all spatial directions. The evaluation of these straights is based on the mode selected.
This allows you to set a circumferential gap between the cells, separating them from each other.
These modes define in which area the grid should be generated:
- Full: Each cell is drawn completely.
- Inside: Structures that run exactly along the outside edges are omitted.
- Outside: Only the lines visible from the outside are preserved. This only affects three-dimensional grids for which the inner lines can be removed.
A grid can be generated "Full" (shown on the left), "Inside" (shown in the middle) and "Outside" (shown on the right).
This can be used to reverse the order of points.
