Inputs

Geometry

Here you can pass the spline or line into the Node. You can, for example, use the Edge to Line Node to convert a geometry's edges to lines.

Objekt

Offset[-∞..+∞m]

This value defines the absolute distance that the line should be moved. The distance from the original position to the value defined will be filled with polygons.

Auto-Direction

If this option is enabled, the Node will attempt to estimate which direction is best for extrusion. If this does not achieve the desired result, this option can be disabled and you can use the Direction setting instead to define a custom direction.

Direction[XYZ m]

This setting can be used to define the direction in which the lines should be extruded, i.e., moved. The three values represent the X, Y and Z direction within the geometry. These vector values will automatically be normalized. The values’ size factor does not play a role for the extrusion distance.

Subdivision[1..2147483647]

This value defines the number of additional subdivisions along the extrusion.

Flip Normals

If the Normals that are calculated along the extruded line point in the wrong direction, enabling this option will invert their orientation.
