Inheritance
The Inheritance Effector can be used to create spectacular effects by inheriting position and angle values or animations from one object to another. In the same way, clones of a clone object can be morphed onto the clones of a second clone object. Such effects were previously only possible with Thinking Particles.
In the following description, the original clones are referred to as heirs and the object in the Object field is referred to as the parent object.
Example
In the following example, all chess pieces follow the cylinder animation one after the other. For the "one after the other", the heir effector has a defined Step Gap greater than 0.
