With these settings, additional Point Selection Tags can be created on the Join Spline capsule, which can then be used by grouped generators, for example.
If the Weld option was activated in the previous settings group, Select Welds can be used to activate the storage of a point selection on the capsule. The name to be used for this selection can be specified for Selection Welds. This name can then be given to generators, for example, to limit their function to the saved points of the selection.
The Welds selection automatically contains the summarized points at which the adjacent splines or spline segments meet.
Here, the splines shown on the left have been assigned and welded together in Stack mode. On the right, the connected points that can be saved in the Weld Selection are symbolically highlighted by spheres.
If the Bridge mode was activated in the previous settings group, Select Bridges can be used to activate the storage of a point selection on the capsule. The name to be used for this selection can be specified for Selection Bridges. This name can then be given to generators, for example, to limit their function to the saved points of the selection.
The Bridges selection automatically contains the start and end point of each connection between the assigned splines or spline segments.
