Here you connect the shape that is to be assigned with modeling functions.
Here you select the desired modeling function. The resulting settings correspond to those of the separate modeling nodes. The available modes can also be found as individual Nodes in the Geometry Modifier Group where they are described in detail.
Depending on the selected function of the node, you can specify here the element type for which the modeling command is to apply. This setting is also relevant for the use of selections. The choices here are Polygons, Edges and Points, although not all modeling commands are available for all element types.
There are also modeling commands, such as Subdivision Surface, that work independently of this setting
Specify here the indices of the points, edges or polygons to which the modeling function is to be restricted.
