Mode

With this setting you influence the display and calculation of the numerical values on the bars:

  • Off: The display of the numbers is switched off.

  • Value: The number is taken from the CSV file and converted to a string, which is then displayed as a spline. Note that in each case the default for the decimal places is applied and thus the accuracy in the decimal value may differ from the actual numerical value. It is automatically rounded up.

  • Percent of Sum: All values are added and then form the basis for 100%. The individual numerical values are then converted to percentages relative to this sum. The sum of all values is therefore always 100%. In this mode, any filter used (see "Data" settings) is not evaluated. Values hidden via the filter therefore do not change the percentage value of the remaining numerical values.

  • Percent of filtered sum: This mode works like "Percent of sum", but this time the filtered out numbers, if any, are also taken into account and the percentages of the remaining values are adjusted accordingly. For example, if your data set consists of the three numerical values 10, 20 and 30 and you only allow values above 20, then only the value 30 remains, which consequently becomes 100%.

  • Percent of reference: Also in this mode, the numerical values are automatically converted to percentages. However, here the numerical values are not added up to define 100%, but you yourself can define a reference that is compared with each individual numerical value.

Reference[-∞..+∞]

In the "Percent of Reference" mode, you can enter a reference value here, with which each numerical value is compared and converted to a percentage value accordingly.

Placement

Here you define. where the numbers are displayed relative to the bars:

  • Over: This corresponds to the default setting where the numbers are displayed above the end of the bars.

  • Under: The numbers are displayed under the base of the bars.

  • At the top: The numbers are displayed centered above the bars.

  • Baseline: The numbers can be moved as desired via the baseline value.

Baseline[-∞..+∞]

If you use "Baseline" placement, this value will be used to move the numbers sideways.

Align

This menu influences the alignment of the numerical values to the bars. The respective reference point is selected via the placement:

  • Automatic: The labels are automatically aligned to match the selected placement.

  • Left: The labels are placed flush left.

  • Center: The labels are placed in the center.

  • Right: The labels are displayed right-justified.

Offset.P[XYZ m]

Offset.R[HBP °]

Offset.S[XYZ ]

Use these vectors to change the position, rotation and scaling of the numbers.

Flip

This option rotates the texts by 180° to be able to read them from the opposite side.

Font

Here you select the font for displaying the numbers.

Size[-∞..+∞%]

This value can be used to scale the numbers evenly.

Extrusion[-∞..+∞m]

If you let the splines extrude, this value determines the height of the numbers along the Y-direction.

Bevel[-∞..+∞%]

Use this value to control the radius of the rounding on the faces of the extruded figures.

Decimal Places[-∞..+∞]

If your numerical values have several decimal places, you can define the desired number of decimal places for the display on the bars here. Note that the decimals of the numerical values are rounded up by default. The value 10.5 can thus also become the value 10.6 This can be remedied by increasing the number of decimal places evaluated. If you reduce the decimal places to 0, only the number part before the point or comma remains.

Suffix

Here you can enter a character to be appended to the numerical values. This can be, for example, a percent sign or a currency abbreviation, such as $ or €.
