UV
In this submenu, you will find all the commands and functions related to the creation and editing of UV coordinates on a selected mesh. Many of these functions are also accessible directly via icons at the bottom of the UV Editor, which becomes visible when you switch to the UVEdit layout.
Since many UV commands work interactively or can be restricted to specific sections of a geometry by selecting them, using the UVEdit layout is always a good idea when you want to edit an object's UV coordinates.
