This distribution can be loaded directly via the Browse button of a Cloner object if the Cloner object uses the Advanced mode. This distribution is based on the Partition Modifier and its subdivision of a rectangular area. The resulting individual surfaces are used to place and scale the cloned objects.

The Partition Distribution is based on the random subdivision of a plane (shown as an example on the left). The newly created areas within this plane are evaluated for the placement and scaling of the clones (right in the image).
