Color Correction
What is it about?
This page covers the Color Correction node of the classic node materials in Cinema 4D. It modifies individual color components or swaps hue while preserving saturation and brightness — controlled recoloring of textures.
Color correction can be used to recolor color textures or to color grayscales. In this example, a simple grayscale gradient is converted to values between 0 and 2*pi using a Range Mapper to control the color tint. The Tint option is enabled for the color correction.
Color Correction modifies individual components of an input color or replaces its color while maintaining the saturation and brightness.
