Tip:
These settings only apply to the legacy spring mass simulation system (Basic tab Legacy Solver).
Use this setting to determine if the splines should be checked for collision with other objects containing a Hair Collision tag.
Activate this setting to stiffen the springs connecting the mass points. The spline will try to maintain its shape without simply falling/collapsing, as it would if this option were not active. The splines will sway at or near their initial state, depending on rigidity.
Use this setting to define a starting point for the spline simulation effect. This setting can also be used if, for example, the splines have fallen as a result of dynamics and you want to save the resulting state.
Since the aforementioned option causes the fixing of points to be lost, it may be necessary to reset fixed points.
