Material

A material defines all physically relevant properties of a surface. It is therefore the endpoint of all Nodes that pass their results to the layers and properties of a given material. These include above all the BSDF layers, which are used to define the shading and reflection of a surface, as well as the Normals and Displacement, which can be used to additionally influence the shading and shape of an object.
Note 1:

This Node is only available when editing a classic Cinema 4D Node Material.

This Node combines all information about a given material and corresponds in its result to the surface definition that you can assign to an object via the Material Manager.

Note 2:There can only be 1 Material Node per Node Material.
