Connect here the shape at which something is to be selected.
In this menu you select the selection method. Depending on the function, further parameters then appear, e.g. to select the element type of the selection (points, edges or polygons).
The concrete settings of the selected method otherwise correspond to those of the separate selection nodes (see Geometry Selection).
