Camera Crane
The Camera Crane tag is primarily used to simulate the slewing movements of real camera cranes. It complements the Motion Camera Tag, which simulates a shouldered camera.
A Camera Crane was originally nothing more than an auxiliary construction to hoist a camera into the air and film the scene from above. Of course, vertical (and horizontal) camera movements and pans are also possible.
The Cinema 4D Camera Crane can be controlled using the following parameters:
The Camera Crane can be adjusted as required using numerous parameters.
The camera crane base can be positioned by a parent null object or with a null object/spline in the Link field.
If you call up this command, a camera including Camera Crane tag is created as a sub-object of the currently selected object. In addition, the Camera Crane is set to the position of the selected object. The Camera Crane position is then controlled by this object (alternatively, this can also be done by the object defined at Link ).
