UV Projection Distribution
This distribution can be loaded directly via the Browse button of a Cloner object if the Cloner object uses the Advanced mode. It can be used to place clones on or across a surface. Unlike the Object Cloner mode, which also allows clones to be placed on surfaces, the UV Projection Distribution uses an object’s UV coordinates to calculate positions on the surface. As a result, the distribution of the clones is largely independent of the mesh’s structure, and subsequent subdivisions of the mesh do not affect the distribution of the clones.
The UV Projection Distribution distributes clones along the UV coordinates of a geometry. It also provides various animation functions to automatically move the clones across a surface.
