Set Closed Status
Splines have a property that can be used to automatically close or open the gap between the start and end points of the spline. This feature can be specifically switched on or off with this Node.
The Node is therefore suitable for use within a Spline Node capsule, for example, or wherever a spline needs to be opened or closed individually. Below you will find an example where a parametric text spline was opened in this way to display a neon sign.
Here, a text spline is processed by the Set Closed Status Node to open the individual segments in the text and - by adding and moving additional points at the ends of the segments - convert them into a parametric neon sign.
