Op Input
This input can be used to modify the spatial position of the Field. All you have to do is connect a Matrix Op Node, which can be used to define the position, size and rotational angle of a matrix.
Here you can define the geometric shape that should restrict the Field. You can, for example, choose from Cube, Cylinder and Sphere as well as special shapes such as Shader and Random. All of these Field types can also be found as individual Nodes in the Fields Node group where they offer identical settings. Their settings are explained in the corresponding help pages.
Only the Field Function type is new and makes it possible to create custom Fields that are not found in the application's menus. To do so you can use a Field Group (located in the Fields Nodes) and connect its Field Strength to the Field Strength input of the Field Op Node.
This input is only available if Field Function is selected and is meant for connecting a Field Group that can be used to create custom Field types.
Outputs
Op Output
Here you will find the calculated field strength that can, for example, be used at the Field input of an Effector Op Node to control its effect.
