Animation
This lets you export mesh deformations based on PWG joint animations, i.e., what are generally referred to as character animations. The option decides whether joint hierarchies (including animation tracks), Skin object and Weighting tag should be exported at all. If it is deactivated, none of these are exported at all.
A Cinema 4D scene can be exported, including position, size and angle animations. The length of the animations to be exported can be precisely defined. Please note that exported animations will always be baked, i.e., each area provided with an animation track is assigned one keyframe per image.
You can select from the following options:
- Custom: Here you can freely define which animation frame range should be exported. Define the start and end with the following two parameters From and To.
- Current image: Exports only the current animation image. In other words, the animation image on which the time slider is currently sitting. No animation data will be transmitted.
- All images: The entire animation length - regardless of whether it was animated or not - will be exported.
- All animated images: Only the areas with tracks will be exported or, in other words, all animated images between the first and last key.
- Preview area: Exports the animation area defined by the preview. The preview area can be defined interactively in the animation palette or in the scene presets (with Preview Min and Preview Max)
If you have set Custom under Preview area, you can use these two settings to define the start(From) and end(To) of the animation to be exported.
